MY STYLE

I am an on-location natural light photographer.  This means that (as much as possible), I use natural light in my photography and therefore all scheduled sessions are weather permitting.  I will come to your home or meet you at a local setting of your choice.  I am based out of Morristown, NJ but will travel outside Morris County for a small travel fee.

The majority of each session is unscripted and interactive vs. posed portraiture.  My goal is to capture your child’s personality, his/her natural smile and of course their quirks. I love to capture that glow and anticipation of an expectant mother.  Newborns do require a bit more posing to capture those cute little hineys and wrinkles.

AVAILABILITY

I schedule a limited number of sessions each month and am typically booked at least one month in advance.  If you are expecting, please contact me prior to the birth so that I can ensure availability to photograph your newborn within the first 10 days of life.  I require a $150 dollar deposit to schedule your session.

BEFORE YOUR SESSION

I will work with your to schedule a time and a location that suits your expectations.  I will email you a “What to Wear Guide” and will be available to answer any questions you have regarding preparing for your session.  I will also email you a link to a client information form and model release.  Please complete this as soon as possible and at least 72 hours prior to your scheduled session.

THE DAY OF YOUR SESSION

My style of shooting is very relaxed and (hopefully) fun!  I will arrive at your home or agreed upon location at the scheduled time.  Please be dressed, have hair done, etc. before I arrive.  I will spend time getting to know your children and hopefully making them feel comfortable.  I plan to spend 1 – 1 1/2 hours playing and interacting with your children, while shooting them.  For family sessions, I recommend an activity to base your session around.  What does your family like to do together?  . . .(i.e. flying kites, a picnic in the park, family bike ride, going for ice cream etc.  . .)

Clothing changes are allowed and encouraged (as long as your child tolerates them).  Your child will decide how long the session lasts.  I understand that breaks for snacks and drinks may be necessary.

AFTER YOUR SESSION

Some sneak peek images may appear on my blog within a few days – so check the blog frequently.  Your final 25 – 30 session images will be ready in approximately 2 weeks.  You will receive an email with a link and pass code for the slide show.  Please monitor your junk email folder because some mail servers incorrectly flag this communication as spam.  Your gallery will be active for 5 calendar days.  You can share the gallery link and password with friends and relatives and anybody can place an order directly from the website.  If your family members need more time to order, a 50 dollar re-upload fee will be required for an additional 5 days.  All images that are unordered for 30 days will be erased.

I want you to be happy with your photographs; therefore I do not require a minimum order at this time.  Most of my clients order the digital files on CD and a one or two enlargements of their favorite images.  For larger orders, I offer special package pricing – please do not hesitate to ask.
